Bang Bang! is a 2014 Hindi action romantic musical film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Fox Star Studios.
The film is an official remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day and features Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles performed by Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz respectively in the original. Fox Star Studios distributed and marketed the film worldwide.
The film opened to mixed critical reviews but grossed about 27.54 Cr on its first day. The film released on October 2, 2014 in about 5100 screens worldwide, the biggest release for an Indian film.
After the opening day collection, Bang Bang becomes the 5th highest opener Bollywood film in India after Dhoom 3, Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiger and Singham Returns.
